"Eric called me up and asked to come and play with all
my old buddies. I had the BEST time in a long time!"

Written and Produced by Eric Gruendemann and Rick Jacobson
Epic Slap LLC
Filmed in California, Spring 2008
"Bitch Slap" is a post-modern, thinking man's throwback to the "B" Movie/Exploitation
films of the 1950's - 70's as well as a loving, sly parody of the same. Inspired by the likes of "Dragstrip Girls," "Faster Pussycat,
Kill, Kill," "Kung Fu Nun" and the pantheon of Blacksploitation films, "Bitch Slap" will mix girls, guns, outrageous action and
jaw-dropping visuals with a message… don't be naughty!
At its core, "Bitch Slap" follows three bad girls (a down-and-out stripper, a
drug-running killer and a corporate powerbroker) as they arrive at a remote desert hideaway to extort and steal $200 Million in diamonds from a ruthless
underworld kingpin. Things quickly spin out of control as allegiances change, truths are revealed, other criminals arrive for the score, the fate of the world
hangs in the balance and they are forced to confront a villain much worse than they ever expected… themselves. It's the ultimate morality tale as, one by
one, they realize the whole she-bang was a set-up and one of them may not even be human...
What makes "Bitch Slap" different is a complicated "B" story device that runs
throughout the film to illuminate character, backstory and relationship histories not previously revealed. Like the film "Momento," these scene
flashbacks take place in reverse, so by the end of the film, you have a wholly different take on who these women are and why they are behaving so badly.
"Bitch Slap" also employs a mysterious Female Narrator who comments periodically on the folly of humanity, the plight of the human condition and the
vagaries of life and love through quoting the likes of Dostoevsky, T.S. Eliot, Sun Tzu and even Buddha. Bet you never heard THAT in "Jailbait
Babysitter!"
So grab your popcorn and fasten your safety belt. With "Cult Classic" written all over
it, "Bitch Slap" is gonna be one wild ride.

Army Wives: Renee is/was scheduled for 4 or 5 episode arc and will be playing a lesbian who is the "aggressor". These
episodes were to be released in the fall 2008 on the Lifetime Channel. Based on what Ren said in her latest interview, these episodes may be pushed back to the spring of 2009. I will keep this post updated.

H3,
Renee herself is not the issue. she has fans all around.
When we returned from the strike, the scripts hadn't even been written yet. there was a long discussion with many different important players on what
season 2 should be about. storylines are being revisited and some have changed -- as can be expected when the scripts haven't been written and one
discovers what "feels" right and what doesn't for an entire season. as always, i will be on the lookout for a part for renee. as i have always
done. it will happen. don't lose faith.

From A Renee' interview after the strike:
As for those rumors about an appearance on Army Wives, O'Connor clarifies, "I think anything can change
in this industry as well. You look at the strike and you think of all the people who have been warned about losing their jobs or who have already lost their
jobs, and you realize that nothing is permanent. So, even though there is a plan for me to go on Army
Wives, you can't take anything for complete face value."

Exclusive: Army Wives Boss Relieved of Duty |
Ausiello Report | 3/31/2008
Army Wives' top lieutenant is stepping down. Show-runner Dee Johnson was relieved of her duties over the weekend, sources
confirm to me exclusively. Johnson's ouster - the result of creative
differences with producer ABC Studios - marks the third show-runner change the Lifetime drama has weathered in a little over a year. Samantha Corbin-Miller was
the first to go AWOL in Dec. 06. She was replaced a few months later by Jeff Melvoin (Alias), who stuck around until last August, at which point Johnson took over.
This latest exec shuffle couldn't have come at a worse time: Army
Wives- which ranks as Lifetime's No. 1-rated drama series of all time - is only two weeks into production on its
highly anticipated 18-episode second season.

6/26/07 - TV Guide Katherine Fugate:
Executive Producer: It doesn't hurt that the Lifetime show's creator Katherine Fugate
happens to be Eden's niece. Fugate also has plans for an old friend from the days she was a writer on Xena: Warrior Princess. "I want to write a
two-parter for Renee O'Connor (Xena's bosom buddy Gabrielle) for the second season," Fugate says.

From Renee'
4/26 -- Hello! At last, the short film about the man who takes
his father on one last joy ride is finally ready to start production. I am excited to see my writing taking shape and, finally, I have the chance to direct my
own piece! Thrilling for me, but let's see what everyone else thinks later. It involves motorcycles, children and a couple of stunts! Hee, hee, hee . . .
Why make it easy, right? I will be putting some original pieces I have made on eBay to fund the project. They do call me "grass roots Renee" around
these parts. There will be all sorts of different media such as art on tiles, a couple of pastels and maybe an oil painting. Keep checking my website for
updates.".

Cat on a Hot Tin
Roof: A late 2008 or early 2009. An ROJ Stage Production
"What I'm trying to do right now is secure
dates to put up "Cat on a Hot Tin Roof" as a play. It just depends. That's a character I love. I love Maggie, crazy Maggie. That's something
I'd like to do, if not by the end of this year, then early next year. I will be acting...but I will produce it, because it's easy for me to put it all
together."
