About me. How vague can you get?

Well, my glorious life began when I was born. You could argue that it happened at conception, but that would be silly.

It all started when I learnt to talk. Well, that and control my bowels. You know, it helps socially.

After 16 years of education, slogging through the Bedfordian Lower, Middle and Upper school system I emerged with more GCSE's than I can count on two hands, a quadlet of A-Levels and that annoying attitude that my high school years were the best days of my young life.

I then set out on an epic adventure to university to the strange and wonderful lands of Leicestershire where lots of coincidences happen and people mispronounce words. I decided the study of people was interesting, so it confused everybody when I chose to study Psychology which apparently only consists of statistics and neurobiology. And definately not people.

So, after two years of being very confused I took a step out into the real world and took up a series of very bizarre and convoluted jobs including selling bath suites, selling my soul to the devil (aka mobile phone sales), selling wedding dresses and selling coffee. All distressingly very similar.

However, after deciding that the real world was actually hard work and I was still poor I went back to the land of study to finish my "psychology" degree in 2007.

Well, it's now 2008 and i'm embarking on my final year of my degree - assuming all goes well and I actually pass my exams instead of getting really pissed off at Cognitive psychology modules and their apparent goal of cyborgs.

I'm living in a quaint little house which is neat and tidy and full of exciting Japanese and Buddhist things with my very best friend and our little orange kitten.

My bestest friend in the whole world is known on here as Gravitystar - she's my very cool housemate, best friend and regular life saver. And you can thank her for getting me into Xena. It all happened many many years ago (ok, so just under 2 years ago)... where she confessed to me her not-so-secret obsession with Xena, specifically Gabrielle, and I did my friendly duty of giving it a shot. Having never watched it before. Ever.

Six seasons later, I was a 3/4 convert. Ok, so I'm not an addict - especially not compared to Gravitystar - but i've seen every epsiode but FIN (I can't bear to watch it), think "Ides of March" and "Been there, Done that" are the shizzle, and want to marry Joxer, but f*ck Ares on the side. And yes, I do like women (obviously, a criteria of being a Xena fan is at least some bisexual tendencies) - but no, neither Gabrielle or Xena push my buttons. Just no. Callisto on the other hand.....

So yes. Here I am. Obviously an extremely awesome person, with a Xenite housemate. Oh, and by the way - I coined the term "Xeek" for Xena Geek. And Gravitystar is the original.
