"Innermost Feelings"

You have touched me in ways I've never known,
entering my heart and enwrapping it with beauty
and tendered love. Our embraces are as real
as a treasured sunrise; I feel your engraved spirit

glow inside me and the world stops spinning
for those wonderful moments. I've taken your
soul in mine, looked into eyes that have seen
far too much but still retain an innocent brilliance,

and thanked God for your creation. Your beauty
outshines the most awe-inspiring night sky;
when you speak angels gather for your voice
whispers in golden tones of divine serenity.

You are heaven in a warm body yet also wonderfully
human. Knowing you is a pleasure unmeasured;
your smile is as sweet nurturing manna that sustains
gently until you grace my life afresh. You come close

and I want to freeze time, to be with you forever.
I love you and I truly always have; your breath
conjoins with mine and gives me strength beyond
mortal limits: strength to endure the lonely nights,

knowing we will soon be together again; your aura
snuggled inside mine. Within the whispers of this
sanctuary, we are together; my unshackled heart
beats only for you, the author of my eternal dreams.

"Tome Of Love"

You appear to me in every dream,
an angel too beautiful to comprehend
in waking hours. Always you tenderly
hold a book open; I cannot discern
the names that glitter in eternal star
dust. Your voice caresses my soul -

"soon the sun will rise over our love"

your unrestrained eminence lingering
when I awaken. I feel a warmth
lucidity has never before provided;
peering into the mirror a reminiscent
glow exquisitely frames my appearance.
I hear the faintest whisper in my soul -

"soon the sun will rise over our love"

and realize you're really hovering above
my heart without benefit of sleep. I
turn to see you smiling, book extended;
shaking, I view the page presented.
Our names are side by side, twin souls
embossed boldly in the Tome Of Love -

"the sun has risen, prophecy is fulfilled"

angels sing as one, rejoicing in our bliss.
